organized by la-condition-japonaise
la-condition-japonaise e.V. presents “almost the same, but not quite” an exhibition curated by Taro Furukata reflecting on asthetic processes of mimikry and assimilation in dialog between exhibition space and artwork with japanese artists living and working in Berlin. Since more than 100 years, time and different events layered in the space of an old Hair salon in Berlin, Neukoelln. To use the complex character of the space as an artistic material bring us into the most productive space, where the border of space and artwork are ambivalent.
